Slick was barely 6wks old when he came to live here, I already had Katie the Retriever and she was pineing for puppies, Slick was a very sick kitten, he had the disease Feline Hemobartnoallis, a uncurable blood disease carried by fleas, ticks, saliva, blood and scratching with a 5% chance of recovery. The Vet started him on 1cc of antibodies daily for 7 days, but the real cure was Katie. As I sat Slick down out side trying to figure out how to get him to potty on his own. She came in like the Calvery, scooped him up in her mouth and has taken care of him ever since. The first few weeks it was touch and go for him but Katie never let him out of her sight. Even when I was giving him medicne she would be right there! If any one wonders why such a name as Slick spend 2 of the first 4 month of your life in a dogs mouth.!! It was a site to see her carry him all over the place. As you can see by the picture... It really takes the cake to see him nurse, and she gave milk with out having puppies... I was amazed. Now a year later Slick rules the roost and Katie right behind him! |

New answer to what's on TV tonight. Hobo came to live with us in 1996. Already neutered we looked for a long time for her family.. she seems to be happy here. or should I say at Mom's ( to crowded for her here) she just moved in there after a short winter here. She is the ruler of the roost there and dosen't have to share with anyone there not even Dad :)

AH JC (short for just a cat) what a wonderful nine lives he has came to be with me in 1991 as a Tomcat and stayed all winter in the snow because I didn't want a stray Tom around my sweet little Scratcher. Come spring I took him to the vet had him taken care of shots and ect to make sure he was healthy enough to live with me and his owner chewed my bad.... So he lives next door and comes to see me every day. When a 4-wheeler hit hit and broke his hip and leg his owner s where jsut going to let him die. When I asked about him they said oh his just over in the brush dying. WELL I THINk NOT on my pillow and in my lap for 9 weeks but he sure moves fast now!!! (PS its been a year since the accident and he still limps but he still know where breakfast and dinner are) He would be embarrased if he knew this was the picture I used of him! all cat lovers know what he is doing but he was just to cute!!! and he's not even in the litter box Forgive me JC you know I love you Here on 05-05 JC is still very much the stray cat he makes his rounds every day and begs his food! Still loves his little girls owners so much he wont leave but is sitting at my feet grooming himself after a nice breakfast of 9-Lives They mst have named this stuff after him! |

Now can you believe it! I couldn't have gotten him to pose like this in a million years, but he decided to stop and smell the roses ( Tulips) all on his own. He is getting to be such a big Cat. and growing more special every day. I am so Glad Katie decided to be his surrogate Mommy. He has a heart as big as his eyes are blue. And such a friendly guy.. All who enter are geeted with a nosey meow and a how are your ankles pounce Rainbow Bridge 04-06-06 |

What a sweet (BIG) baby! Stinker is one of Scuffy's kittens. I gave him to my Aunt when she lost her Snowball, When she had her heart attack I took care of him for her. When she passed away in May I told her I would take good care of him. He is such a lap baby, which is rough since he weighs about 20 LBS it has taken from april to june to get him to join in but with Slicks help and Katie is still on the job.. he is one happy cat now. He loves the family walks which is fun to watch because he is bigger than the maltese and the same size as my Am Eskimo looks more like a dog than a cat. So glad he is a lover not a fighter, he could do some damage!!!! I have taken a ruler to Stinker he measures 14 inches tall and 24 inches long an weighs 19 1/2 pounds so He really is a BIG baby Rainbow Bridge 06-05 |

Odie- Is a Maltese who thinks he is a hound he like to lay on the futon and sleep all day unless he is falling into foundation footing and I have to hunt him down. Or rolling in the mud just after his bath.. He was a rescue with a over bite the breeder was just going to put him down saying he wouldnt live long any way well that was 12 years ago and these pictures where taken 12-03 guess he wont live very long! guess that goes to show what TLC and a good vet will take care of Foot note: ODIE has crossed rainbow bridge 05-04 and will be mssed |
